WPF AnnTextObject
Note: This topic is for Document/Medical only. The text annotation object (AnnTextObject) is a rectangle containing a character string with font properties. The text will wrap on word breaks within the object's specified rectangle. With the automated functions, the user clicks and drags to specify the rectangle in the current window. A dialog box then lets the user enter the text. Programmatically, the boundaries and location of the text object can be controlled using the following properties:
The AnnTextObject class inherits a number of properties from the AnnObject class that provide support for font, stroke and fill characteristics. These properties are listed below:
The AnnTextObject class implements the IAnnText interface which provides properties that support text alignment, margins, etc. These properties are listed below:
The name of the text object can be controlled using the following properties, inherited from the AnnObject class:
- Header
- HeaderBackground
- HeaderDecorations
- HeaderFontFamilyName
- HeaderFontSize
- HeaderFontStretch
- HeaderFontStyle
- HeaderFontWeight
- HeaderForeground
- HeaderOffset
- IsHeaderRestricted
- IsHeaderVisible
The following properties may be used in transforming a text annotation object:
An object can be part of a group annotation object or part of a container object. It cannot be part of both a group and a container at the same time. The following properties can also be used to programmatically set characteristics of an AnnTextObject class object:
- Hyperlink
- IsLocked
- Password
