C Syntax

HRESULT put_MinimumFragmentDuration(newVal)

IltmsLiveStream *pLiveStream;

pointer to an interface

DOUBLE newVal;

duration

Sets the output minimum fragment duration. 

Parameter

Description

pLiveStream

Pointer to an IltmsLiveStream interface.

newVal

Double value that represents the minimum output fragment duration, in seconds

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

The minimum output fragment duration indicates the minimum time to accumulate a fragment for delivery to all of the protocols. The default value is 2 seconds. Setting this to a smaller value can result in reduced latency. However, some protocols will not function with a value that is too small.
