The LEAD H265 Transcoder is a DirectShow filter. It is used to transcode h.265 video streams between byte stream format (used in MPEG2) and NAL unit stream format (used in ISO/mpeg4/RTSP). The conversion can be done in either direction, from ISO format to MPEG2 format or MPEG2 format to ISO format. This filter changes the h.265 packets format without re-compressing the video stream or the data packets. Converting with this filter is fast while preserving the quality of the original stream. To convert an h.265 video stream, insert the LEAD H265 Transcoder filter between the demultiplexer and multiplexer, just as you would use an encoder.
The LEADTOOLS Multimedia toolkit automatically inserts the filter in this manner, so you do not need to do anything to use this filter. You just need to ship it and the toolkit will use it if it is available.

Please refer to the LEAD H264 Transcoder for screenshots showing how to use the H265 transcoder. The screenshots in that topic show how to use the H264 Transcoder, but the H265 Transcoder uses the same principle.
