The Rain Video filter adds rain drops to the video, as if the video were a pool of water. The property page is shown in the figure below:
The Rain property page provides a user interface for changing the filter's attributes.
Changes will be applied directly to the streaming media with the ability to set them permanently by selecting Apply or OK, or to abandon changes by selecting Cancel. Positioning the mouse pointer over a control displays general information for that control. The following table shows the controls and their descriptions:

Wave speed slider |
Controls the wave speed. Increasing this value results in decreasing the wave lifetime (faster waves). Range: 1 to 10. |
Density slider |
Controls the density of the rain added to a single frame. This is used only if Custom Rain Drops is selected. Range: 1 to 100. |
Enable effect area check box |
Enables/Disables the effect for a cropped video area. Area limits are set using the Left, Top, Right and Bottom controls. |
