Definitions

Deployment License

Specific LEADTOOLS license name used in reference to a license for deploying or releasing software applications. Developers planning to deploy obtain a Deployment license. The Deployment license is composed of a license file and a developer key file.

Evaluation License

Specific LEADTOOLS license name used in reference to a license for evaluating LEADTOOLS features in software applications. Developers planning to test LEADTOOLS features obtain an Evaluation license. The Evaluation license is composed of a license file and a developer key file.

Runtime License

Generic LEADTOOLS license name used irrespective of the license type. The types of licenses include Deployment or Evaluation. Developers initially obtain an Evaluation license to test out LEADTOOLS SDK features and once they are ready to progress towards deployment obtain a Deployment license.
