L_LTDIC_API L_INT L_DicomAddTransfer(hPDU, nID, pszUID)

HDICOMPDU hPDU;	a DICOM Associate handle
L_UCHAR nID;	presentation ID
L_TCHAR * pszUID;	character string

Adds a Transfer Syntax to the specified Presentation Context.

Parameter	Description
hPDU	A DICOM Associate handle.
nID	Presentation ID. The presentation ID provides information about both the class type of the data and the transfer syntax to use when transferring the data.
pszUID	Character string that contains the new Transfer Syntax to add. For a list of possible values, refer to Transfer Syntax Values. This parameter cannot exceed PDU_MAX_UID_SIZE + 1, including the null character at the end.

Returns

DICOM_SUCCESS	The function was successful.
>0	An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes.

Comments

A DICOM Associate (Request or Accept) can have multiple Presentation Contexts. A Transfer Syntax can be added by specifying the ID for the appropriate Presentation Context to which to add the Transfer Syntax.
