L_LTDIC_API L_INT L_DicomSendReleaseResponse(hNet)

a DICOM Network handle

Sends a Release Response message to a connection. This function is available in the PACS Imaging Toolkit.

Parameter	Description
hNet	A DICOM Network handle. This is the handle created by calling L_DicomCreateNet.

DICOM_SUCCESS	The function was successful.
>0	An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes.

Comments

L_DicomSendReleaseResponse is sent by the server in response to an L_DicomSendReleaseRequest call placed by the client. It generates a call to RECEIVERELEASERESPONSECALLBACK on the client. The client and server can now close the DICOM Association by calling L_DicomClose. For more information about ending a DICOM Association, refer to Ending a DICOM Association.

Please note that ending the DICOM Association by calling L_DicomSendReleaseRequest and L_DicomSendReleaseResponse is preferable to calling L_DicomSendAbort.
