Send the data in pBuffer over an ISCL connection, unsecured. This data is not encrypted and the message has no authentication code. This function is available in the PACS Imaging toolkits.

Size, in bytes, of the data to be sent.
Value | Meaning |
---|---|
DICOM_SUCCESS | Success. The data was dispatched to the ISCL network level. |
DICOM_ERROR_MEMORY | An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes. |
The non-secure send is the fastest method of transmitting data over an ISCL connection. It is faster than the normal send/receive process and has no encryption and no message authentication codes.
