L_DicomFindUID

Summary

Returns a pointer to a structure that contains the item with the specified UID.

Syntax

L_LTDIC_API pDICOMUID L_DicomFindUID(pszCode)

Parameters

L_TCHAR * pszCode

Character string that contains a UID. A pointer to the item in the UID Table that has this UID will be returned.

Returns

Value Meaning
!NULL A pointer to a DICOMUID structure that contains the item with the specified UID.
NULL There is not an item with the specified UID.

Comments

As an example, if you call this function with pszCode set to "1.2.840.10008.1.1", and the UID Table filled with the default values, the DICOMUID structure pointed to by the returned pointer will contain "1.2.840.10008.1.1" and "Verification SOP Class".
