The LEAD DVR Sink filter is used to create DVR buffers for storing live capture or streaming video. These buffers can be read using the LEAD DVR Source filter while they are being updated. Another common term used to describe DVR is "time shifting".
The LEAD DVR Sink and Source filters allow you to play, pause, rewind, and fast forward live streams.
The DVR buffers can be used to store any kind of stream, but they are designed for storing MPEG-2 Transport and MPEG-2 Program streams.
