LEADTOOLS Document Writers technology is a powerful and flexible development tool for converting a wide variety of document image sources into editable file formats such as PDF, XPS, Microsoft Word (DOC and DOCX), Microsoft Excel (XLS), HTML, RTF, ePUB, MOBI, and Text.
LEADTOOLS Document Writers utilize both, the SVG file format or EMF file format as input formats to convert its vector-based objects into various searchable and editable formats. In addition to converting raw SVG/EMF files, the Document Writers integrate directly with other LEADTOOLS technologies that support SVG/EMF output such as DocumentConverter, OCR, Virtual Printer and Annotations.
LEADTOOLS supports creating PDF files with a rich set of options including different versions (1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, and 1.7), PDF/A, 40 and 128-bit encryption, font properties, various image compressions, controlling initial view, image over text documents with options to optimize image size, bookmarks and embedding LEADTOOLS annotations to the final output document. In addition to creating searchable PDF documents with the Document Writers, LEADTOOLS also supports loading and saving Raster PDF Files.
