IltmmDVDControl::GetDVDTextStringType

Summary

Retrieves the text string type for the specified language and string indexes.

Parameters

IltmmDVDControl *pDVD

Pointer to an IltmmDVDControl interface.

long langindex

Language block from which to retrieve the text string type.

long strindex

String index of the specified language block from which to retrieve the text string type.

long *pVal

Pointer to a variable that receives one of the ltmmDVD_TextStringType constants.

Returns

Value	Meaning
S_OK	The function ran successfully.
<> S_OK	An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

Before calling this function, determine the total number of language blocks available by calling IltmmDVDControl::get_DVDTextNumberOfLanguages. Based on the value obtained from IltmmDVDControl::get_DVDTextNumberOfLanguages, pass an appropriate index value for the Index parameter of the IltmmDVDControl::GetDVDTextNumberOfStrings function, to retrieve the number of strings in the specified language block. Then, pass an appropriate language index value and string index value to this function to retrieve the type of the specified string.
