pointer to a pointer

Retrieves a pointer to the media source object.

Parameter

Description

pConvert

Pointer to an IltmmConvert interface.

pVal

Pointer to a variable to be updated with a pointer to the media source object.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

This function will retrieve a pointer to the object set with the IltmmConvert::put_SourceStream function.

If the function succeeds, the user should release the retrieved interface pointer by calling the interfaces Release method.
