C++ Syntax	HRESULT get_TemporalCompression(pVal)

IltmmMediaTypeDisp *pMediaTypeDisp;	pointer to an interface
VARIANT_BOOL *pVal;	pointer to a variable

Determines whether samples are compressed using temporal (interframe) compression.

Parameter	Description
pMediaTypeDisp	Pointer to an IltmmMediaTypeDisp interface.
pVal	Pointer to a variable that indicates whether the samples are compressed using temporal compression. Possible values are:
	Value	Meaning
	VARIANT_TRUE	The samples are compressed using temporal compression.
	VARIANT_FALSE	The samples are not compressed using temporal compression.

Returns

S_OK	The function was successful.
<> S_OK	An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

A value of VARIANT_TRUE indicates that not all frames are key frames.
