IltmmConvert::put_TargetType

IltmmConvert *pConvert;	pointer to an interface
long newVal;	target type

This function sets the target type: file, object, variant array, etc.

Parameter	Description
pConvert	Pointer to an IltmmConvert Interface
newVal	Long value that contains the receive target type. It can be one of the ltmmCapture_Target Constants enumeration values.

S_OK	The function was successful.
<> S_OK	An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

This function allows the user to set the target type to one of the following:

Value	Meaning
ltmmConvert_Target_File	The target is a file set with IltmmConvert::put_TargetFile.
ltmmConvert_Target_Array	The target is a SAFEARRAY variant set with IltmmConvert::put_TargetArray.
ltmmConvert_Target_Object	The target is a COM object set with IltmmConvert::put_TargetObject.
ltmmConvert_Target_Device	The target is a target device set through IltmmTargetDevices::put_Selection.
ltmmConvert_Target_Stream	The target is a stream set with IltmmConvert::put_TargetStream.

This is an internal method called by methods like IltmmConvert::put_TargetFile.
