ILMMixCapSrc::put_AudioDetectEnable

Summary

Enables or disables the stream's audio detection.

Parameters

ILMMixCapSrc * pMixCapSrc

Pointer to an ILMMixCapSrc interface.

VARIANT_BOOL newVal

Flag that specifies whether to enable or disable the stream's audio detection. Possible values are:

Value Meaning
VARIANT_TRUE Enables the stream's audio detection.
VARIANT_FALSE Disables the stream's audio detection. This is the default value.

Returns

Value Meaning
S_OK The function was successful.
<> S_OK An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

If enabled, then each stream will display a border with color and width, specified by ILMMixCapSrc::put_AudioDetectBorderColor and ILMMixCapSrc::put_AudioDetectBorderWidth, if the audio detection threshold level specified by ILMMixCapSrc::put_AudioDetectThreshold is exceeded.

To retrieve the stream's audio detection state, call ILMMixCapSrc::get_AudioDetectEnable.
