The Chorus filter creates several layers of the same sound, adding depth and resonance. The property page is shown in the figure below:
The chorus property page provides a user interface for changing the filter's attributes.
Changes will be applied directly to the streaming media with the ability to set them permanently by selecting Apply or OK, or to abandon changes by selecting Cancel. Positioning the mouse pointer over a control displays general information for that control. Select the Enable check box to enable the entire chorus effect. Select the Combine check box to preserve the difference between wet and dry mixes. The following table shows the controls and their descriptions:
Control | Description |
---|---|
The Enable check box | Enables/Disables the effect. |
The Combine Wet/Dry mix check box | If selected, preserves the difference between wet and dry mixes. |
The Wet mix % slider | Controls the level of processed signals. Adjust to control the pass-through volume of the processed signal. |
The Dry mix % slider | Controls the level of unprocessed signals. Adjust to control the pass-through volume of the unprocessed signal. |
The Feedback % slider | Feedback of the repeated signal, by default from -100 to 100. Zero feedback will result in only a single repeat, while nonzero feedback settings will generate numerous repeats. |
The Delay slider | Controls the level of the chorus effect. Larger values result in greater delay times. |
The Stereo slider | Stereo represents the phase difference between the left and right channel. |
The Defaults button | Restores the default values for the properties. |
The Set as defaults button | Sets the current properties values as defaults. |
