LBitmap::BlurDetection

Summary

Determines whether image is blurred or not.

Syntax

virtual L_INT LBitmap::BlurDetection(Blurred, BlurExtent)

Parameters

L_BOOL* Blurred

Pointer to a variable to be updated with the value showing whether the image is blurred. Possible values are:

Value Meaning
TRUE The image is blurred.
FALSE The image is not blurred.

L_DOUBLE* BlurExtent

Pointer to a variable to be updated with the amount of blur extent. Possible values are range from 0 to 1.0.

Returns

Value Meaning
SUCCESS The function was successful.
< 1 An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes.

Comments

The amount of blur extent will be computed if the image is blurred; otherwise, the value is useless.

This function can only process entire images. It does not support regions.

This function supports 8, 12, 16-bit grayscale images and 24, 32-bit colored images.
