Adds a colored glow to a bitmap's light or dark areas, making these areas shine with a neon glow.
Parameter |
Description |
pBitmap |
Pointer to the bitmap handle that references the bitmap on which to apply the effect. |
nGlowAmount |
Glow intensity, expressed in tenths of a percent. Possible values range from -1000 1000. Use positive values to add glow to the brighter regions of the image, and negative values to add glow to the darker regions of the image. |
uClearAmount |
Value that represents how deeply the glow will penetrate into the non-glowing areas, expressed in tenths of a percent. Possible values range from 0 1000. A value of 0 indicates total glow diffusion, whereas a value of 1000 indicates the glow does not penetrate into any of the non-glowing areas. |
uSpreadAmount |
Value that represents the amount of blur in the glow diffusion, from 0 to 100 pixels. Possible values range from 0 1000. A value of 0 indicates none of the glow is diffused, whereas a value of 1000 indicates maximum diffusion. |
uWhiteNoise |
Percent of the bitmap to be covered with added pixels, expressed in tenths of a percent. The pixels will be added randomly. Possible values range from 0 1000. |
crGlowColor |
The COLORREF value that specifies the glow color. You can specify a COLORREF value, such as the return value of the Windows RGB macro, or you can use the PALETTEINDEX macro to specify a palette color. |
uFlags |
Reserved for future use. Must be 0. |
SUCCESS |
The function was successful. |
< 1 |
An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes. |
This function does not support signed data images. It returns the error code ERROR_SIGNED_DATA_NOT_SUPPORTED if a signed data image is passed to this function.
This filter adds pixels randomly to the bitmap. A glow is added based on a combination of the pixel colors and the glow color.
If the bitmap has a region, the effect will be applied on the region only.
This function supports 12- and 16-bit grayscale and 48- and 64-bit color images. Support for 12- and 16-bit grayscale and 48- and 64-bit color images is available in the Document and Medical Imaging toolkits.
To update a status bar or detect a user interrupt during execution of this function, refer to L_SetStatusCallback.
This function does not support 32-bit grayscale images. It returns the error code ERROR_GRAY32_UNSUPPORTED if a 32-bit grayscale image is passed to this function.
