LBitmap::AdjustTint

Summary

Adjusts the bitmap tint by changing the colors in an image by using two separate color wheel rotations.

Syntax

#include "ltwrappr.h"

L_INT LBitmap::AdjustTint(nAngleA, nAngleB, uFlags = 0)

Parameters

L_INT nAngleA

Value that represents the amount of change in the A angle, in hundredths of degrees. Valid values range between -18000 and 18000.

L_INT nAngleB

Value that represents the amount of change in the B angle, in hundredths of degrees. Valid values range between -18000 and 18000.

L_UINT32 uFlags

Reserved for future use. Must be 0.

Returns

Value Meaning
SUCCESS The function was successful.
< 1 An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes.

Comments

This function changes the colors in an image by using two separate color wheel rotations. For the nAngleA parameter, a positive rotation takes blue toward green and red, as shown in the following figure:

image\nAngleA.gif

Negative rotation has the opposite effect. For the nAngleB parameter, a positive rotation takes red toward green. Negative rotation has the opposite effect.

Use the LBitmap::ChangeHue function to rotate the color wheel in either direction using one angle change that changes each color in the image. A 180-degree rotation in either direction changes each color to its complement. Positive rotation takes red toward green, green toward blue, and blue toward red. Negative rotation has the opposite effect.

This function only supports colored images.

This function supports 48 and 64 bit color images. Support for 48 and 64 bit color images is available only in the Document/Medical toolkits.

To update a status bar or detect a user interrupt during execution of this function, refer to LBase::EnableStatusCallback.

This function does not support signed data images. It returns the error code ERROR_SIGNED_DATA_NOT_SUPPORTED if a signed data image is passed to this function.

This function does not support 32-bit grayscale images. It returns the error code ERROR_GRAY32_UNSUPPORTED if a 32-bit grayscale image is passed to this function.
