LScanner::IsValid

Summary

Determines whether there is a valid scanner object.

Syntax

L_BOOL LScanner::IsValid()

Returns

Value Meaning
TRUE The scanning object is ready to be used.
FALSE The scanning object is not ready to be used.

Comments

Before you can use any of the scanner functions, a bitmap must be associated with the class object. Until you have associated a bitmap with the LScanner object, the object is considered invalid.
